The students were so excited to take home their Thanksgiving crafts and I am hoping that they even were able to make the recipe for you over their break. This is something I make each year with my students, and every year I have a past student who comes by to tell me that they got theirs out during Thanksgiving to use again. I am hoping you and your family will start that tradition as well.
Also, we enjoyed a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving treat last Tuesday afternoon. We talked about the very first Thanksgiving and what it was like for the Pilgrims and Indians. To demonstrate being thankful for what we receive we practiced by only receiving the exact food given in the Charlie Brown Holiday Thanksgiving Movie. I was very proud of how the students took being thankful so seriously. :)
