 How the Grinch Stole Christmas

 Our very own Grinch Dust!

Christmas Brunch! THANK YOU to all our parents who donated items to make this event such a YUMMY success.

Goodies from Mrs. P.  Each student received personalized notepads with a new pencil.  They also got some reindeer dust to sprinkle on their lawns on Christmas Eve.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Celebrating the "80th" Day of School

We had a "totally rad" time today celebrating the 80th day of school.  We watched a powerpoint about various events that happened in the 1980's, toys and commercials from the 80's, and even sampled some foods introduced in the 80's.  :p

Christmas Holiday Brunch Reminder w/ Link :)

I am reposting the link to sign up for our holiday brunch on Dec. 18th. Nutcracker Field Trip

We had a wonderful field trip last Thursday to see the Columbia City Ballet perform the "Nutcracker."  We appreciate our music department heads, Mr. Headrick and Mrs. Burns who set up this field trip for our third graders. :)

Meet & Greet with Miss Wilson

We are so excited that we will have our very own USC student intern when we come back from Winter break.  Her name is Curry Ann Wilson and Mrs. P has heard she is awesome.  She came by this past week to introduce herself, and answered some questions from these sweet curious babes.

Kickin' It Multiplication Ninjas

This past week we all started taking our timed multiplication quizzes.  Once we pass so many levels we earn a different colored belt.  Please keep encouraging your child to learn his/her facts daily.  I am excited to see how many belts can be earned before we head out for Christmas break. :p

CSE's Talent Show

For the first time ever our school held a Talent/Variety Show and one of our very own, Miss Hannah submitted one of her pieces of art.  Way to shine Hannah! :)

Snowflake Returns

Mrs. P's classroom elf, Snowflake has returned once again to keep watch on all my students for Santa this holiday season.  The kids are super excited to have her visiting us for a while.

Christmas Holiday Brunch

Here is the link to sign up for goodies to bring on Dec. 18th. I know it's early, but this way we have plenty of time to sign up and get our items brought in.  Thanks for all you do for us as parents to make these special classroom events successful. :)

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

We enjoyed watching Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving today and enjoyed some of the same snacks that Charlie Brown, Snoopy and friends enjoyed on the movie.  Thank you to all our parents who donated items for this event.  I hope you all have a safe and blessed Thanksgiving break. :)

Girls On The Run 5K

Congratulations to Sarah and Hannah and all the other Girls on the Run participants who ran their 5K this past Saturday.  I am super proud of all of them.  :)

"Rock Man" visits

Each year my students LOVE it when Diamond Del visits and they get to go gem mining.  Here are a few pics we captured when he came to visit. ;)
