End of the Year Party

We had a wonderful end of the year celebration and the kids went home with lots of goodies.  I hope you all enjoy the cd that I created for each of your children along with this collage of what your child wants to be when he/she grows up.  Enjoy and I wish you all a wonderful summer vaca.  Please keep in touch and know that I will miss you all. Love, Mrs. P

Such a blast.  It is starting to sink in that I won't be having these babies much longer.  This last week of school is going to be a tear jerker for sure. Sniff sniff! :(

Minute to Win It Games

The students have worked so hard during this last month of testing so I wanted to find a creative way to pass our time so I found some neat games to play one day.  I know we've all heard of the "Minute to Win It" game show and they kids had a blast trying it out for themselves.

 Impressive Ty!

PAWS Cafe Winners

Congrats to Hannah J and Cornelia who were chosen as our 4th nine weeks winners for PAWS Cafe.  This was the first time for both of them and they were super stoked! I am super proud of them. :)

We 'Mustache You" to sign our yearbooks

Students brought their yearbooks last week for others to sign.  Those who didn't buy one received an autograph sheet from me to use for signatures.  They all wore mustaches and had extra recess with the whole 3rd grade so they could get buddies from other classes to sign. :)

Gonna Go Back In Time!

Last week we went back in time to the 1920's! After finishing this unit in SC History, we decided what better way to celebrate than to dress up in the 20's fashions, eat food created back then, and to learn how to dance "The Charleston"! I was super impressed with all the outfits.  Way to go parents!

We couldn't but start a dance train at the end tho. LOL! We had a 'roarin' good time! Hope you enjoy all the pics and hope my sweet kiddos enjoyed this day! I know Mrs. P should did. ;p

Teacher For A Day Lessons

Hats off to these awesome kiddos who went the extra mile to earn some extra credo this past week by teaching a lesson.  Each student wrote out actual lesson plans, taught and assessed our class.  Each of them earned an extra 100 counted twice in the grade book in any subject area.  A round of applause for them all and Mrs. P even saved their lessons to show off to my future students for next year! ;)
