End of the Year Lessons

Wow - is the only word I can think of to describe how proud I am of all the lessons taught this week. I had 16 out of 24 students who decided to go above and beyond for extra credit by researching, creating/planning a lesson to teach to their peers. The students loved it, and it was fun to see them shine with confidence in front of their peers. Each year, I always have a student or two who will tell me how hard it was to teach. One literally said, "Mrs. Prevatte, I am exhausted and I only taught for 15 minutes. How in the world do you do this everyday all day long?" LOL! It's easy though when you love children and love what you do is what I always reply back to them.

PAWS Cafe Winners

I am so proud of my winners from this last nine weeks of school. All 3 of them always do a great job of behaving and working so hard for me. Congratulations to them and all my winners from class this year! :)

Career Vehicle Day

The kids enjoyed our visitors this past week who discussed their careers and the importance of an education in life. It was hard picking our favorites because each one was so great. :)

Happy Mother's Day

The students had so much fun making their ladybug pots for their moms this week. It was so sweet watching them put their little thumb prints on the pots. I just kept thinking how sweet it will be for you to have a keepsake that you can use and reuse each year. :)
