State House Field Trip 2010

I want to say a big THANK YOU to all my students for being so well-behaved on our field trip Tuesday. Our tour guide was very impressed with our outstanding behavior, and told us teachers that we had some of the best classes she has ever seen. That is a HUGE compliment considering how many tours they do each year. :) I also want to thank all our chaperones who helped out as well. We couldn't have done it without you!

Mystery Reader Visit

The kids had no clue who our mystery reader was going to be until Ben Tanner walked into our class. He read Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs to us. We loved how animated Mr. Tanner is while he reads. He really knows how to bring a story to life. :) Everyone be sure to tune in to WIS-TV on May 20th (tomorrow)at 6:10 a.m. to see our class picture on the sunrise news. The kids were beaming from ear to ear for the rest of the day, and I have to admit I was a little star struck myself!

Mother's Day Pots

I want to wish all our mothers a very happy Mother's Day! The students enjoyed making their flower pots for you moms! Hopefully this is an item you can not only keep but put to good use! :)
