Soil Identification Lab

This week we "dug" into studying the various types of soil.  We checked out all the properties from their color, grain size and texture.

We also used a soil sieve to watch how the soils have different grain sizes. We noticed how loam and humus mostly remained on top but clay and sand went straight through to the bottom.
