Authors At Work

The students really enjoyed creating their writer's notebooks last week.  I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you for helping with collecting pictures, stickers, and other objects for them to use to glue onto their notebooks.  It was very neat watching all of them cut up their pictures and share those special moments with one another.  This writer's notebook will be used throughout the year capture our moments as young authors!

 We also decorated our SC History and Science interactive notebooks.  These notebooks will be a vital part of our class this year.  
                                    

We will use them for every chapter and unit of study we do with each of these subjects.  Important notes, class work, etc will go inside. 

 Please know as a teacher and a mom myself, I know your child has a great deal added to his/her plate as a learner.

 The students are not used to having SC History and Science graded.  I started these notebooks last year and they were a HUGE hit. 

 Hopefully this will help your child with collecting and organzing important information for these two areas.  :)
