Solar Oven Fun!

You will be happy to know that we put all those shoe boxes to good use today! We made solar ovens and then used them to cook some mini pizzas.  We reviewed our heat and matter units.  

 First we prepared all the mini pizzas.

 Then we prepared the solar ovens outside.

 Let the cooking begin!

 We discussed how the aluminum foil became a conductor by using the sun's energy.
                                      
 It didn't take long for things to "heat" up. :)

 Time for us to taste our creations!
