We've been learning about natural resources these last couple week in SC History. While enjoying our Labor Day off my husband and I took the kids fishing at the river and we had a picnic on a sand bar. While walking along the sand we found tons of pieces of coal. So I decided to bring in a piece of coal to give to each one of my students. All the kids were so excited and couldn't believe I was actually going to let them take it home to keep. :)
